We start with your story.
What brought you here? When did the heaviness begin? What patterns keep repeating? We work to understand your experience in the context of your life.
My approach
When you’re depressed, empty, or unsure who you are anymore, you don’t need a quick fix. You also don’t need endless talking with no movement.
What helps is a combination of practical support and deep understanding. My approach blends both.
What brought you here? When did the heaviness begin? What patterns keep repeating? We work to understand your experience in the context of your life.
Low motivation. Negative self-talk. Overwhelming pressure. We build tools to help you function day to day, feel more grounded, and take steps that rebuild confidence.
We explore why you feel disconnected, what expectations you’re carrying, how you relate to your emotions, and what gives your life meaning.
We use what we learn to make choices, change patterns, and move toward what matters. We’ll check in regularly about the pace and direction of our work.
I combine warmth with accountability. I’ll offer honest reflections and encourage steps outside your comfort zone when they serve your goals.
We work together to understand what’s hurting, what’s missing, and what you need to feel more like yourself.
Psychodynamic work helps us understand recurring patterns and how your past shapes the present. Existential therapy makes room for questions about identity, meaning, responsibility, and choice.
I also use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to work with thoughts and behaviors, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help you act on your values while making room for difficult emotions. For OCD, I use exposure and response prevention (ERP) to help reduce rituals and build a different response to uncertainty.
What we can work on
Things that used to matter don’t. You’re getting through your days, but struggling to feel present in them.
We work on what’s draining you—low motivation, negative self-talk, and loss of energy—while exploring the disconnection underneath it.
The worry loops. The what-ifs. The rehearsing and replaying. It’s hard to feel at rest.
We’ll work on responding differently to worry and avoidance, and explore the pressures and patterns that keep them going.
Doubt, unwanted thoughts, checking, or rituals keep asking for more certainty than life can give.
Exposure and response prevention (ERP) helps you face uncertainty without relying on the rituals that keep the cycle going.
You can be surrounded by people and still feel alone. Connection feels difficult, or the same problems keep returning.
We’ll look at how you relate to others, what makes closeness difficult, and what you need from your relationships.
Who am I supposed to be? What do I want? How do I build a meaningful life when I feel overwhelmed?
We take these questions seriously. We’ll explore the expectations you’re carrying, what matters to you, and what is worth building toward.
Past experiences or loss are affecting how safe, connected, or present you feel today.
We’ll work at a pace we decide together, with attention to both what you’ve been through and what would help you feel steadier now.
