A LITTLE SUPPORT FOR THE SHORTER DAYS
A brighter winter.
One small step at a time.
You don’t have to love winter to make room for good things in it. Build your own plan for movement, connection, daylight, and something to look forward to.
YOUR PLAN, READY WHEN YOU RETURN
Keep your winter with you.
Use this freely as a guest, or sign in with your Google account to save your plan across devices. Account saving uploads your entries, including mood notes and team names, to this site’s database. Entries aren’t shared with your team or monitored by a therapist.
Checking account saving…
Guest entries stay in this browser. Clearing browser data removes them. Export a backup, or choose account saving above.

Change location
No GPS needed. This ZIP stays in this browser and is used only to look up a local forecast—not added to your mood log or shared with your team.
Sunshine means a daytime forecast of sunny or mostly sunny, not a guarantee. Forecast: National Weather Service. ZIP lookup: Zippopotam.us. Spring countdown uses March 1, the start of meteorological spring in the Northern Hemisphere.
Show up for yourself.
Your garden reflects activities you log, never your mood score. A difficult day isn’t a failure.
GIVE YOURSELF A NEXT GOOD THING
Something to look forward to.
Big plans are welcome. So is coffee with a friend, a new book, or a favorite dinner.
WINTER ISN’T A SOLO PROJECT
Keep your people close.
Choose people you can ask to check in. Tell them what support actually helps: a walk, a call, a meal together, or a simple “how are you?”
Adding someone does not notify them. Tap “Invite” to review a message, then choose WhatsApp, text, email, or copy. You choose the recipient and send it yourself; agree on a rhythm together. Invitations don’t give anyone access to your entries. This tool doesn’t monitor you or alert anyone.
MAKE A LITTLE ROOM TO NOTICE
How have you been feeling?
Your mood over time
YOUR LIFE. YOUR KIND OF SUPPORT.
What else helps you?
A regular bedtime, music, prayer, cooking, therapy, making something, or a quiet hour. Keep a list you can return to when it’s hard to think of anything.
A little nudge, right on your phone.
Opt in to a gentle push notification once or twice a week—even when this page is closed. No calendar needed.
Around 6 PM Eastern on the days you choose. Notifications are specific to this browser or Home Screen app; your device may delay or silence them.
Checking notification support…
Lock-screen text stays generic: “A little check-in.” Mood notes and team names are never included. On iPhone or iPad, add this resource to your Home Screen first. Push reminders don’t contact your support team or monitor your wellbeing. Already added a calendar reminder? Remove it separately in your calendar.
Your data & backups
Guest entries are stored only in this browser. With account saving enabled, entries are also stored in this site’s database and are available after signing into the same account. Account saving isn’t a clinical record or a monitored service. Anyone using your unlocked browser profile may see local copies. Export files contain your entries, so keep them private.
Deleting removes your current plan and its local copy, and the saved account plan if account saving is enabled. Push reminders can be switched off above, or in your browser’s notification settings.
BEEN INVITED TO SOMEONE’S WINTER TEAM?
A little connection goes a long way.
Ask what kind of support they want and agree on a check-in rhythm that works for both of you.
- A simple “How has this week been?” is a good start.
- Listen before offering advice. A walk or a meal together can be an invitation, without pressure.
- If you’re concerned, encourage them to seek professional support. You don’t have to be their therapist.
You won’t receive automatic alerts or have access to their tracker. Arrange check-ins directly with each other.
You deserve support beyond a tracker.
This is a wellbeing tool, not a diagnosis, treatment, or monitored service. If low mood persists, worsens, or makes daily life difficult, talk with a qualified health professional. You don’t need to wait until things are unbearable.
